Give Kids the World - Day of Service
On November 17 our stake held its annual Day of Service at Give Kids the World. Give kids the World provides "memorable, magical, cost-free experiences to children with life-threatening illnesses and their families." Volunteers helped by clearing up the landscaping, refurbishing landscaping decorations, re-sand pavers, general cleaning and much more.

Awesome. I remember that day. I got to help with a clerical job around the table with a bunch of people from our stake. It wasn't hard work but it really felt like we were helping move things forward for those good people. I also felt so happy to get to make and strengthen friendships as we served together.
