November Monthly Stake Theme

This month as we give thanks for all our blessings, let us remember to serve others in need.  

This Saturday, November 14 place your Scouting for Food bag on your front porch by 8am with non-perishable food items.

Make a donation to your local food pantry or volunteer to feed the homeless.

"Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me." Matthew 25:40

This month let us show love and support for our country. Whether your displaying the American Flag or showing support for our troops, there are many ways that we can serve others and support our country!

May Stake Monthly Theme

This month we want to invite all our members to join in the National Day of Prayer on May 7th. As members of the church it's important to show our support of basic gospel principles. In participating with those of other faiths we can show our faith in the Savior and help others to understand more of what we believe.

April Stake Monthly Theme

This month let us try to show our respect for the beautiful world Heavenly Father has given us by improving our natural environment.  Here are a few more ideas:

• Organize a group of volunteers to help clean up and restore a local park or "green space."
• Try to go the whole day without creating any garbage. 
• Recycle your electronic waste in an appropriate facility.
• Update your light bulbs to energy saving ones.
• Plant a tree.
• Visit a nursery and consider buying some plants. 
• Organize a neighborhood beautification project.
• Hold a paper drive.  Use the recycling proceeds to purchase a special tree.
